Hi Everyone. I work on Listings and Contributors with the GetAboutAble team. It's hard to choose, but I'd say my current favourite city is London and I love trying the local cuisines when travelling.
Hope's Place is now a regular stop on our family road trips between Canberra and Melbourne because the coffee is always really good and the service prompt and friendly. Hope's Place is on the main street of Gundagai and we've found that it's definitely worth detouring off the Hume to go into town. As well Hope's Place, there is a the lovely park and a visitor information office just down the road and it's quick and easy get petrol at the servo on the main street, especially around peak times like the Christmas/New Year period when there are long queues...
After a medical appointment at the Equinox building last week, my eye caught sight of the very cool ramp going up to the EQ Cafe at the centre of the complex. I decided to investigate and was pleasantly surprised by the level access and friendly staff. Even though it was a busy lunchtime crowd, a staff member behind the counter noticed me in my wheelchair and came around to my side to help me with my order and payment.
