Cross Family Adventures
Bio :
In 2017, Dane and Stacey Cross created the @cross_family_adventures social media, YouTube and Blog pages to showcase the possibilities (and challenges) for a family living with disability.
Dane is a Brisbane-based Disability Access Consultant (Inclusive Access Solutions) and Accessible Tourism advocate and lives with a Spinal Cord Injury (quadriplegia, C5, complete) as a result of a sporting accident in 2001. Since his injury, he has met and married wife Stacey who, together, have raised two boys, Ashton (6) and Dawson (2). Stacey is an active disability advocate, HR professional, wife, mum and carer.
The Cross Family enjoy documenting their adventures around their home town of Brisbane (Queensland) and beyond (including a recent trip to Hawaii). The family travel together on all of their adventures and showcase “the good, the bad and the challenging” when travelling with a two young boys and a parent who uses a wheelchair. While the family enjoys the occasional luxury holiday, it doesn’t stop them from getting down and dirty on 4x4 and beach adventures.
