General accessibility information:From www.qhotels.co.uk: Arrival At Dunston Hall, you will find 5 parking spaces to the left of the hotel which are reserved for disabled drivers, with another 3 located near to the entrance of our Club and Spa. There is also a turning circle located directly outside the main entrance for dropping off and picking up only. The main entrance is a door to the left of the building as you look at it. If you need assistance with luggage or equipment, our team of porters are on duty 24 hours. Reception The Reception desk is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the entrance lobby. The reception desk is 105cm high although check-in can also be completed whilst sitting at the seating area in reception. The following accessible aids are available at Reception: ‚ Vibrating Pad to assist waking guests with hearing disabilities in the event of a fire alarm. An evac chair is also available to enable staff to assist with the emergency evacuation of disabled, if necessary. Bedrooms Dunston Hall has 6 purpose built disabled rooms. Dunston Hall Hotel has 2 disabled rooms on the Ground floor and 2 on the first floor. Bedroom Inclusions:

In the event of an emergency a member of the team will assist with your evacuation if necessary. Fire evacuation advice is provided on the back of your bedroom door and a disabled refuge area is situated in the link corridor. In case staff needs to summon extra assistance during your evacuation. Accessible toilet facilities are located opposite the main bar entrance. Conference, Banqueting & Meeting Rooms Conference, Banqueting and Meeting rooms are located on the ground and 1st floor and are accessible via a lift if required. Hearing loops are available upon request in advance. Lighting can be dimmed where required. Please notify your conference or banquet for specific seating or staging requirements. Accessible toilets are located at the ground floor of the events centre. Lounge Bar Access into the Lounge Bar is via the main reception entrance. Accessible toilets are located on the same level as the bar and lounge area to the right of the main front door. Dunston Club and Spa Entrance to the Club and Spa is located on the ground floor. Access can be gained by using the lift, A member of the leisure team will show you the facilities and assist with access to the swimming pool and spa. A dedicated accessible toilet and changing area is located within the leisure club, as well as a wheel in shower room with drop down seat and appropriate grab rails. Outdoor Facilities The terrace area can be accessed via the door in the main bar or restaurant, which is level and paved. We also have an 18 hole championship golf course. The Golf pro shop and changing rooms are located on the ground floor in the Bunkers building all on the same level.
